First World Problems

It's my life and I'll complain if I want to!

• When they misspell my name on my Starbucks cup
• When my home wifi is down and I have nothing to do
• When I have too many chips for my dip but if I get more chips, I'll have too much dip for my chips
• When the movie you're watching on your flight/bus ride is too long so you never see the ending
• When your hand hurts from carrying too many groceries
• When you notice you're out of toilet paper AFTER you've already used the bathroom
• When the automatic hand dryer in the bathroom cuts off before you can fully dry your hands
• When your selfie only gets three likes on Instagram
• When you spend your last dollar on chips from the vending machine but they get stuck on the silver twisty rings of death
• When you use all of your skips on Pandora/Spotify and are forced you listen to music you hate for the next hour
• I sent an important email late at night thinking "They'll get it in the morning". They emailed me back asking me why the hell I was emailing them at 3 in the morning
• When I can't watch television because there is someone watching all 3 of the ones we have in my house

The Military Ball!

Aaaaargh guys I had the best weekend ever!!!

I went down to visit Babe where he's stationed to go to the Marine Corps Ball. He invited me last year but I wasn't able to go. This year he was determined for me to go so we worked out the details so I'll be able to attend. I hopped on the Amtrak train from Washington, D.C. all the way to Wilson, NC and then transferred to a bus to get me to Jacksonville. I was really nervous about traveling by myself but it actually wasn't so bad. I was on the train for four hours but it was hella spacious and had outlets so it wasn't an uncomfortable ride. The bus ride was only two hours and it went by really quickly. I made to Jacksonville around six I clock on the evening and Babe was already there to meet me!

The ball was the next day and it was awesome! Seeing a bunch of Marines in their dress blues getting it on the dance floor was actually quite hilarious! :D We got back to the hotel a little after one in the morning and I was exahausted! My feet hurt and I wanted nothing more than to fall out into bed and go to sleep. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Babe saw a roach! Like what in the actual fuck?! We packed up and left that hotel so fast lol! So at 2 in the morning we were driving around to find a new place to stay for the next few days. We ended up in the best fucking hotel ever! The room was like a little apartment and I loved it! 

I came back home Sunday night but it's so hard leaving my Babe! Usually, he's the one leaving but this time it was my turn. Getting back on that bus sucked so much! I wanted to stay a few more days with him. Hell, I wanted to stay there with him forever! I hate being away from my Babe! :(

All in all, the trip was awesome! The rides down there and back were easy, the ball was fun and I had the best time with Babe! I'd go again in a heartbeat.
