Last week I was talking to a friend of mine and she asked me to list my top 5 favorite songs, movies and television shows for an article she was writing. It got me thinking and it's something I may be adding to my blog as a regular thing. I doubt I'll do it monthly like my friend does but it's a start. So here it is, a short list of my top 5 favorite things for the month of December.
I saw this movie for the first time about a year ago online. It's about Earth, a post-apocalyptic Earth might I add, that has been invaded by these aliens called Souls. The story line follows one particular Soul named "Wanderer" as it attempts to take over the body of this girl named Melanie. Normally when a Soul takes over a body, the original person seemingly dies and they're no longer conscious of their body. However, Melanie didn't give up that easily and begins to fight for control of her body. There's also a love story involved! :)
How to Get Away with Murder
Awesome television show created by Shonda Rimes, the same woman who created Scandal and Grey's Anatomy. It debuted in September on Thursdays at 10 pm. Season one has already wrapped but keep an ear out for season two next year! Watch it you guys, it's worth it.....just watch it.
The 100 by Kass Morgan
I came across this book after watching the first few episodes of the television adaption on Netflix. It's a science fiction novel about the state of humanity after a devastating nuclear war wiped all signs of life on Earth. Humans have been living on spaceships ever since and now 100 teenage criminals have been sent to Earth to recolonize it. It's a great read although it is quite different from the television show.

Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint
As you know, Nicki Minaj releases her third studio album titled The Pinkprint today! It includes her successful singles like "Pills n Potions" and "Anaconda". The deluxe editions come with extra songs depending on where you purchase it. Hopefully I can purchase the album tonight. Expect an album review soon!
